Below are some important details and deadlines to help you prepare for MEF17.
Presentation Slides Due:
Draft slides - 20 October 2017
Final slides - 25 October 2017
All slides should be prepared in Microsoft Powerpoint (.pptx) 16:9 format in your company template.
Speaker Registration & Badge Pick-up:
There will be a dedicated “Speaker Registration” desk set up directly outside of the Speakers Lounge for you to register.
You may pick up your badge anytime during the event starting on Monday, 13 November at 8:00 am.
The Speakers Lounge is available next to main registration.
The lounge will be open daily beginning at 7:30 am. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day.
The lounge may be used as a quiet space for speakers to work, host meetings, and meet with moderators and panelists.
A MEF17 staff member will be available in the room to assist you with any questions.
IMPORTANT: Technical Requirements & Specifications
- Please arrive in the back of the room 15 minutes prior to the start of your speaking engagement
- Our on-site PSAV team will meet you to test your lavalier microphone and provide instructions
- A confidence monitor will be in front of each speaker, and a hand-held slide advancer will be provided
- If your presentation includes special audio, animations or a video to be played, please notify us prior to your arrival at MEF17
MEF intends to post presentations of all presenters. Please let us know if you do not want your slides to be made available to attendees.
